Record Player That Plays Slices Of Wood
Ever wonder what the trunk of a tree would sound like if it were played on a turntable? Bartholomäus Traubeck
has created a tree turntable called “Years”, which is a record player
that literally plays slices of wood by translating the year ring data
into music.

$43 Million Lake House in Lake Tahoe by Mark Dziewulski Architect
There are quite a few waterfront properties lining the lake, few as breathtaking as ‘The Lake House’ designed by San Francisco based studio Mark Dziewulski Architect. Built nearly 6 years ago, the project was started in June 2006 and took until February 2010 to complete the extravagant home.
This monstrous home covers over 8,694 square feet of contemporary beauty that includes 5 floors, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, six level glass stairwell, and of course a glass elevator to make accessing your desired floor a breeze. If you are looking to pick this masterpiece up, this half acre lot in Incline Village, Crystal Bay, Nevada, USA is currently listed at $43 million.

Creative Small Kitchen Design Ideas
A small kitchen always has its advantages: it’s cozier, you don’t need to look for different things for long because everything is at hand. There some ideas how to make a small kitchen cool. A rustic kitchen with rough wooden shelves and furniture would look great in some country house. A kitchen with industrial touch – a rough brick wall – is cool, especially with sleek surfaces and a kitchen island that has a dining surface to save some space. If your apartment is very small, you can use built-in furniture and appliances and make a dining zone in the main room. A clever idea is to use a long table – here you can cook and then clean the table and use it as a dining one. Some more ideas are below.
