YLAB Arquitectos designed this 1,400 square foot apartment in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, Spain. The whole apartment is a modern masterpiece which differentiates uses between each room. The living room, placed in the center of the apartment, helps each room communicate to each other. The wide windows allow for a healthy amount of light to flow into the room. The designers used low-back sofas and a fur rug in order to effectively create a warm atmosphere. The kitchen-dining room is extremely elegant, taking cues from old clubs and cafés. The lamp with its metallic reflection, in gold leaf and Swarovski crystals, starkly contrasts the warm atmosphere of the dining room.
